background: Platelet-activating factor, a compound that reduces inflammation by increasing permeability of blood vessels and contracting various involuntary muscles such as those in airways. It is a phospholipid with a wide range of proinflammatory actions, is immediately degraded and inactivated in vivo by PAF acetylhydrolase. Important Note: This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications. 血小板活化因子（platelet-activating factor，PAF）是一種內(nèi)源性具有生物活性的磷脂。由中性粒細(xì)胞、血小板、肥大細(xì)胞、內(nèi)皮細(xì)胞和巨噬細(xì)胞產(chǎn)生。除早期發(fā)現(xiàn)它有強(qiáng)烈引起血小板聚集和脫顆粒作用外，近年來的研究發(fā)現(xiàn)它還具有廣泛的生物活性，作為一種獨(dú)特的細(xì)胞因子參與體內(nèi)多種生理、病理過程，包括激活中性粒細(xì)胞，使其聚集、趨化、釋放氧自由基和白三烯，抑制T細(xì)胞增殖，刺激B細(xì)胞合成IgG和IgE，抑制心肌收縮力，增加血管通透性，引起體循環(huán)血壓下降和肺動脈高壓等。由于它具有廣泛的高強(qiáng)度的生物活性，故PAF被認(rèn)為是與過敏反應(yīng)有關(guān)的關(guān)鍵性介質(zhì)之一。 |
